Hi Everybody!

As most of you know(Thanks to Wizzer :) ), I joined Gazillion to be your new Community Manager! I am super excited to be working on such an amazing game and from what I can tell, a super awesome community as well.

For the past few week, I have been in lurker mode and that will remain until next week as I start to ramp up here. I will answer what questions I can on the forums and feel free to PM me at any time. I will answer any questions you have to the best of my knowledge.

I will eventually be the main point of contact for the you, the community and developers like @Asros who have been doing an amazing job and will continue to do! We still want you to be able to chat with our great developers at any time, that will not change.

Some quick tidbits about me: Huge fan of Spider-Man, been following Spider-Gwen. Been in the video-game industry for about a decade. Welsh Corgis are the cutest things ever~

I know Gaz wants to keep it all-Marvel related and I get that. However, sometimes there just isn't anything game related that folks want to talk about but there is something non-game related that they do want to talk about. (Robin Williams' passing is the perfect example.)

People have created various types of bonds with others and they like the environment here. They want to discuss various topics with the people they have met and know from here. I may want to hear @Vinceness‌ opinion on the latest TMNT movie, or maybe @Quintessence‌ wants to start a discussion of and get people's input on his latest tattoo.

Many folks don't interact with each other outside of this environment but still have other common interests. I think an Off-Topic forum would be a nice addition.

Can we kill vulnerability with the new power revamp?

I am cautiously optimistic about the powers revamp and how it might change the game. One change I am hoping for is vulnerability's disappearance. @TheArtofRawr @MichaelMayhem @Asros @Chufmoney

  1. Applying vulnerability isn't fun nor does it have a noticeable effect, it's simply 10% more DPS. It's not like a stun or confusion skill which has utility outside of damage.

  2. Because vulnerability provides 10% more DPS, players feel obligated to apply it since it is extra damage without needing to equip extra gear. This obligation runs counter to the purpose of the new powers and talents system, being able to pick what skills you want.

When a new character arrives on TC, one sticking point is what skill has vulnerability, and players almost always want it to be a skill that is naturally a part of the rotation because everyone wants to apply vulnerability without thinking about it. Raise our base damage by 10%, lower enemy health by 10%, or even take out vulnerability with zero adjustments. I would rather not have to think about vulnerability when picking my skills.

New Infinity system is not new players friendly?

Hello everyone.

So I was reading some of the developers posts about this new system that will be infinite. Since I am pretty casual player (started playing this game back in 2013, but had a huge break from it) I was wondering if it will be any new players friendly system? I mean, if I am new, I would never play it just off the fact I can't get to the spot where someone is because they had head start. They literally can never be where they are. So I am not sure If i understand logic behind this. Also, they are a lot of wallet warriors (no offense to anyone) and just off that they will always be able to be above new players. Only way new player can compete some veteran is if veteran stops playing this game. I mean after all, Omega points meant alot, I am pretty sure Infinity points or whatever they are will make a difference too. This is still quite young game, it's not some dead game where you have 50 players and you are trying to make them stay. New players will keep coming, that's for sure.

Most Powerful AoE

Hey guys,

I have a minor neurological problem with my hands that makes playing difficult. Is there a toon in the game that has very powerful, non-targeted AoE's that I could clear trash and bosses with, even on cosmic level? Maybe 1-3 abilities total?

Like clockwork.. I login and play for about 5 minutes.. then I get DCed.. log back in and instant DC.. but then if I relog I can get another 5 minutes or so before getting it again... rinse and repeat. its like a pattern.

This also happened to me about 2 or so weeks back.. exact same issue and exact same pattern.. is nobody else having an issue.. or am I just that lucky? lol

Have a few reasons for restarting this thread. Most obivously, Beast is chosen so a lot of votes went to him for nothing. (my bad for starting early I guess) Also I didn't do a well enough job to detect people unknowingly or knowingly voting multiple times. I plan to work better for that.

- Vote for 7 and only 7 heroes. (Last time I made a mistake counting any amount of heroes that were voted by the voter but that just breaks the balance)

- No Namor or anyone who is not in Marvel universe.

- Be nice and respect anyone's choices please. And enjoy.

So with the upcoming difficulty slider, what will happen to our pathetic sidekicks? You know, in THE other game, they found a solution for sidekick to actually accompany players as they advance towards infinite levels of hell, so will G improve our sidekicks' inherent durability or it's all about new items specialized for them?
I really don't want my future flashy supporters be put in shadow or else they will die in a sec when i'm playing at higher difficulties.

Please fix the vehicle Travel powers in the power update

The first time cyclops bike screeched around a corner I thought COOL! But that quickly has evaporated into annoyance and frustration. 10 mile long freight trains turn better!

The vehicle travel powers (sky cycle, motorcycles, moped) handle terribly. They make playing otherwise great heroes a chore. It's a gripe I know you've heard but if Gaz is updating all the powers, please fix these. This has actually been exacerbated by increasing the speed.

Would you please consider fixing their usability in the power update? Keep the screeching tires sound effect, ditch the handling problems.

How to get a legendary?

Hi, im new in the game.. I have 300 odin marks, but how exactly do i get/buy a legendary? Odin marks says i should look for my crafter, but i cant see anything related to legendary buys when visiting him. Can someone be kind to explain?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm pumped, need to make a little spreadsheet of what remaining TU's and heroes I need. I know it's only 4 heroes but the TU's...not sure...

I can confirm the 90% G Bundle coupon is functioning properly :D
