I'll just try to summarize to make it as simple and possible this time because I'm aware it takes a certain level of knowledge and experience one to understand things the way they are.
Hiring is exactly the proof that a company is shrinking or has shrink in the past. With the best companies just like in the best guilds it's almost impossible to get a spot, because these companies first of all pay the best so they can hire so quickly and people usually have no reason to seek opportunities elsewhere or be laid off. They have the best benefits, security, etc.
To respond to some of the posts, I'm not playing the game. I only played it for 1-2 weeks during the anniversary event. The game is designed around overcoming challenging foes with your heroes as you learn to play and gear them. There is a reason many big companies try to tag their games as "MMO's" and enter this market over ship as single players. I'm not going to further explain why, but GAZ knows best the numbers it currently has for the product it has and the revenue is receiving vs what could be receiving instead.
GAZ has to find a way to keep up with the formula they intent their game to be around to retain the majority of the players, and if they can't do that it means they aren't equipped with the necessary resources to run this game properly and eventually will see the sunset. By closing threads from former players who clearly want the best for their game and provide positive feedback just further proves the ignorance surrounded around this game. Fenixion as you can see at the end of the thread saying that I've called both the community and the developers ignorant is further proving what I've been arguing about.
When I stated in my thread title that "Ignorance is what's harming both GAZ and this community." I meant that the lack of knowledge and experience behind GAZ is harming both their future in this company as well as this community because it has not grown, expanded as much as GAZ would like to receive the necessary revenue to be able to maintain the formula around their game, but again that's issue GAZ has and the direct performance of their game reflects their ability to run a game, it's that simple.
I already complimented GAZ for the things they've done so far in this game, delivering a strong roster of heroes with great animations, fully voiced, unique combat features, enjoyable leveling experience, etc. but that's not sufficient because the formula behind this game requires more to retain its players over long period, that's all.
