If they do not Ban players who exploit this glitch then does that not mean that any other issues like this in the future should also go unpunished? This would mean a free pass for anyone who hunts for things like this and it would be unfair to ban future players who exploit the game in this way.
I have no idea how this is handled with Marvel heroes or online gaming in general. (I only play Starcraft other then Marvel heroes)

How do people feel about issues like this in online only games?
Will this Drive down the trade value of high cost artifacts?
Is this covered in the terms of service or code of conduct?

What is everyone thinking? please keep it civil and if you have any information about the items you did this with or how many times feel free to inform us ;~)

EDIT:
answer from Dev AgentTrisha on another thread... I don't know how to link just the one post so I am just copying it.

Hi All,

I want to address this issue. In the Terms of Service (https://marvelheroes.com/content/terms-of-service), which were agreed upon at the time of account creation, it does specifically state in Part 1, Section 4, 4.17:

"You will not exploit, distribute or publicly communicate any System error, miscue or bug which gives an unintended advantage within the System, but rather will report any error, miscue or bug you find that provides an unintended advantage to us through our various bug reporting mechanisms." (emphasis my own)

To those of who did reach out to us to report this, in one way or another, we do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. There were some players who were not quite sure what happened when they received a duplicate item and they correctly reached out to us.

Then there are players who knowingly took advantage of this duping issue. We checked their accounts, logs, and other channels to confirm that they were taking advantage of this. We checked those accounts several times. When it was confirmed that they exploiting this bug, which constitutes a violation of the ToS, appropriate action was taken on their account.

So it appears that they Have Dropped the Ban Hammer as some like to call it or at least have taken action.
(wanted to update so anyone wondering what the devs have said can see what I found)
