Lets talk about endgame.

Question: What does this game currently offer from endgame?

Answer: Farming bosses for new loot, to farm bosses faster for better items, to farm faster for better items... etc.

The scenario above is, for the most part, a basic design of a classic ARPG. Even though there are multiple ways of presenting that concept (patrols, terminals, raids, etc). That's fine and all, but isn't this game considered an MMO RPG? Shouldn't there be more things to do? More things to grind for? More things to immerse yourself into?

With the redesign of chapter 1, the randomized maps were scrapped in order to give a more linear path (for new players to not get lost). The devs have said the next chapter redesigns will follow this logic, but slowly opening the maps more. I think this would be the perfect opportunity to make big static maps AND AT THE SAME TIME put some lore, easter eggs, things to do, places to visit, quests to complete, etc.

What about PvP? Was this gameplay option scrapped? It seems to be stuck in beta indefinitely with only 1 map.

Patrols and X-Def/HoloSim could be updated as well. They both have "mini" hubs. Why not put in some quest givers in there? Add some minor events to the boss battles that engage the players to do additional tasks and not just aimlessly mash keys until bosses die?

I get that the game is already pretty old and the core design is what the game is built around, but I think this is the kind of stuff that devs should consider as their next project.
