I've been enjoying this End of Summer Event so far. Chasing buffs, gathering currencies, a decent Server-Side bonus to make Prestiging a little smoother and of course, Ice Cream.
In addition, I've had some pretty good luck with drops. Some runs through Cosmic Midtown and Hightown netted me a Moleman's Staff and a Skrull Military Uniform. I got a Sabretooth Mane from a Crimson Box (my other boxes weren't quite as great, but no Essences of Dread so I'll consider that a win) and managed to land a couple of the 100 Odin Mark chests from the Summer Fortune Cards.
But the best thing...
I actually got a Random Costume from one of the Summer Fortune Cards. Thousands of Midtown Fortune Cards (that ostensibly should have the same chances of getting a Costume) have only given me two Ultimate Upgrades, but the Summer Fortune Cards actually paid off. :)
