Who doesn't have a lore appropriate Team-Up?

I was speculating on who the two unannounced team-ups from AP3 might be and decided to nerd out by listing all the playable heroes and any lore appropriate Team-Ups they had. Lore Appropriate meaning that these characters have some kind of history of teaming up in Marvel comics/television/cinema.

Now, peoples opinions would vary wildly on where every current Team-Up "belongs", but arguing over whether Captain America has 4 or 5 lore appropriate team-ups isn't really worth discussing. Does he have ONE? Yes. Let's move on then.

So here's the characters I feel might not have the best team-up options lore-wise and some suggestions for possible Team-Ups to fill those gaps.

  • Daredevil, Elektra, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher

Most of Marvel's Netflix cast seem to be lacking a really fitting Team-Up to accompany them.

Team-Up suggestion - Jessica Jones

While she may not be the best possible team-up for some of them, it would be nice to have the last upcoming Defender in the game as more than a summon for one character.

Back-up suggestion - Misty Knight

  • Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Thing, Silver Surfer, Black Panther, Black Bolt

Sure, you could use Dr. Doom to team with the Fantastic Four but does it really seem like Doom would be pal'ing around with Johnny Storm, one-on-one?

Team-Up suggestion - Mr. Fantastic

Sadly unlikely to happen due to Reed's apparent lack of popularity, but he has so much history with each of these characters.

  • Magneto, Juggernaut, Emma Frost, Wolverine

While you could slap any random mutant teaming-up with any other random mutant and call it good, there are certain pairings that have stronger relationships and history than others. The former villains aren't necessarily close with any of the current mutant Team-Up options.

Team-Up suggestion - Professor X

Chuck Xavier has history with Magneto and Emma Frost, and is actually Juggernauts step-brother.

  • Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Squirrel Girl?, Emma Frost

I guess you could team Rogue and Gambit with Wolverine, but I think it would be neat for the 90's X-Men's Blue Strike Team to get a more specific Team-Up

Team-Up suggestion - Jubilee

Jubilee hung out with this crop of 1990's X-Men, was a member of Generation X with Emma frost, and I believe she is currently (or soon to be) seen in the pages of Squirrel Girl's comic.

  • Some slightly narrower Team-Ups I would like to see:
Wonder Man - for Vision, Beast, and Hawkeye. Can probably go with almost any Avenger pre-2006.
Mystique - for Rogue, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Iceman or many other X-Men.
Thing - for almost anybody; Thing was the star of 100 issues of Marvel Two-In-One featuring Ben Grimm teaming with a different Marvel Hero every issue.
Thor (regular) - for Loki. A more regular Thor (not Old Man Thor).
Daredevil - for Elektra or many other street level heroes.
    Elektra - for Daredevil mostly.
Luke Cage - for Iron Fist
Iron Fist - for Luke Cage
    Medusa - for Black Bolt
Quasar or Adam Warlock - for Silver Surfer, Nova, or other cosmic heroes
Deadpool (regular) - for a smoother, more authentic, non-cosplay-'Pool Team-Up experience.
Cosmo - for the Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova and because he's a good boy.

  • Some characters I can't figure out fitting Team-Ups for:
Hulk - anyone besides She-Hulk frequently team with Hulk?
Dr. Doom - other than teaming with Dr. Doom and pretending it's a Doombot?
Green Goblin - shouldn't really be teaming with his mortal enemy, eh?
    Ultron
Taskmaster - other than either cos-'Pool?
