Just curious how much say Gaz, Marvel, and the community each have in what heroes will be in a Roster update.
Obviously Gaz has there ideas on what will sell well and be easy to implement well.
I'm curious how much Marvel dictates who has to be in the next update and who absolutely can't. If Marvel dictates I wonder if they offer any compensation if a hero they force in bombs? doubtful
How much do these community votes really affect anything? I guess here its a scale between "we are going to do our best to implement the communities top pick" and on the opposite end it just being another measure that tells Gaz how well a hero might sell which is obviously a big factor for a for profit company.
I see a few examples of where a hero that comes out on top in these forum votes might not actually sell well for gaz. Take Wasp for example. She is by far #1 in the voting but will she really sell well? I hardly ever see anyone see or talk about her partner Ant-man even though I think he is a lot of fun to play. There can be a fairly large divide between how popular a hero is and how fun they would actually be to play in Marvel Heroes.
