HAVOK 2017 Campaign; Aid HAVOK In His Quest for Advanced Pack 4!

Unfortunately Havok didn't get the last spot for advanced pack three. It went to a fellow X-Man though, Beast. While I am upset of this outcome, there is always next year. Even though it's so far away, I'm hoping Havok can get a spot for 2017 along with fellow X-Man Angel.

I'm hoping that along with Havok, that Angel, Songbird, Agent Venom, Wasp, and Spider Woman get spots as well in Advanced Pack 4. In a perfect world Polaris would get a spot as well. But seeing as there are only seven in the advanced pack this year, I can only assume there will be seven next year as well. But who knows, maybe there will be more.

And while it is rather early for Advanced Pack 4, I say the earlier the better. Maybe I'll find new supporters along the way!

This is the official campaign thread for Havok, also known as Alex Summers.

So since I see ones for all the other popular characters; Wasp, Beast, Spider Woman, Jubilee, Songbird (I'm all for the last two in particular), Agent Venom, and Kamala. I thought I'd make one for Havok. Who happens to be an X-Men and Avenger! I think he's fourth most popular for the X-Men not in game right now, the others being Beast, Angel, and Jubilee.

Havok has been part of the X-Men, the Starjammers, X-Factor, and the Avengers. Seeing as there aren't any official Avengers or any X-Men in the AP3 this year, I think Havok could be the perfect choice to represent both. Even if he was with the Avengers for short time, he still lead the team. And had a daughter with Wasp (!!!), who is now gone thanks to Kang the Conqueror.

Havok is already a team-up in game, as well as Spider Woman, Angel, and Wasp. He the only team-up I used until we got the free Doom team-up over the holidays. Anyways, Havok's powers are pretty cool.

Havok's Plasma energy powers are more versatile than his brother Cyclops' Optic Blasts. Havok absorbs cosmic and solar energy, as well as others, to fuel his powers. He converts the energy into Plasma blasts. And unlike Cyclops, Havok's powers create rings of energy when fired out. In the comics, Havok and Cyclops are immune to each other's powers. For quite a long time Havok and Cyclops always argued and disagreed about many things because Havok often felt overshadowed by his brother and thought that he could be a better leader. But both are great leaders and both have had their times to shine.

Havok first joined the X-Men alongside Polaris in 1968. He was the fifth male character and Polaris was the second female character to join the X-Men. Havok has been with X-Factor for the longest, and has switched between the X-Men and X-Factor a few times over the years. In story event in Uncanny X-Men titled The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire, Havok and group of X-Men traveled to Shi'ar space to help Empress Lilandra keep her throne from Deathbird and Havok's younger brother Gabriel Summers AKA Vulcan. By the end of the story, Havok, Polaris, and Rachel Grey were left behind while Nightcrawler and the other X-Men that were with them returned to Earth in a hurry. Havok, Polaris, and Rachel Grey joined the Starjammers and fought against Vulcan and Deathbird. Eventually in X-Men Legacy Rogue's team went to rescue Havok, Polaris, and Rachel and bring them back to Earth. Polaris and Havok rejoined X-Factor. At some point, after Avengers vs. X-Men, Captain America asked Havok to lead the Avengers Unity Squad.

He's got some great costumes too. I'm missing quite a few, but these were the easiest I could. Also, his in game one is alright but should have an update whenever the chance comes. That costume is this first one.

Now, I've created entire mock-up of what Havok could look like in game. It's all purely suggestions and I don't expect that when/if Havok ever does make it in the game that it will be exactly how I made it look like. It could be totally different for all I know. It's just my personal view of how he could be done.

He would have two trees for his plasma energy powers and one tree for melee. Havok is pretty decent in close combat, but he's not as good as his brother Cyclops. Here is my thread detailing everything. I even have a bunch of potential quotes and uniques for him. Four of the powers are directly from the team-up (Plasma Wave, Spin Shot, Plasma Bolts [basic], and Explosive Plasma Shot) but the rest, 19, are powers I came up with that I felt represent Havok in a pretty accurate way.

For the basics, his first tree would focus on plasma beams and bolts. Each power is a beam or bolt power that classically represents how Havok can project his plasma energy. Each power is an attack power, but each are quite different (the question: "How many different powers with beams?" may have popped up).

His second tree will also be plasma attacks, but focused on the other ways he can project his energy that aren't just beams. Plasma Wave and Explosive Plasma Shot are here, as well as his main passive, and three other powers as well as his signature.

His third tree will be more of a melee style tree. It will have a few melee attacks, another passive, and two movement skills. A roll like Cyclops and a charge type ability.
