A lot of loot may sound good in theory. Even mathematically. Having a bunch of 'stuff' drop seemingly increases your chances of getting something good.
I'm not seeing it personally. I'm not complaining, mind you. But I'd much rather have a greater chance at that elusive SWGN than an inventory crammed with boxes that may only net me 3 or 4 uniques that I'm only going to end up vendoring anyway.
"So what do you want, Babs?" you may be asking.
Many of us fondly remember 'Loot Thursday' from Fall 2013. The day Doomsaw intended to temporarily boost the server RIF/SIF to 250% but accidentally set it to 2500%. Yes, 2500%!
In one regular MM boss wave (this was before CMM) I got a bunch of arties, a pet and a costume. Sadly, Doomsaw fixed it pretty quick but that was a great 4 hours!
What I'm saying is...if Gaz really wants to give us reason to celebrate this game's success, why not do this on purpose for a brief time again? We're not guaranteed anything, of course. So it's not like they'd be shooting themselves in the foot by handing out costumes left and right. But I'd sure as hell set aside time to play with those odds!
