I try to mess around on the Test Center as much as I can while it's active just so I can see what heroes are like at 60 so I can add them to my "Heroes to Get, Eventually" list. I tend to pick out heroes that I rarely see and try them - Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing (hmmm… a pattern?), Storm, She-Hulk, Psylocke, Magneto, Luke Cage… those are just a few.
From what I've tried, they all seem pretty fun to me and a couple have decent kill times. I'm just curious why you don't see them running around that often. Are people afraid to play them cause they aren't OP or they have a hard time passing the cosmic trial or doing danger rooms, perhaps it's a hero they just want to get to 60 and shelve maybe just to have the synergy? If they are a random hero draw, you don't see the same excitement as getting Spider-Man or Deadpool.
I get that what's fun for someone might not be fun for another, but I wonder if these third string heroes are just quickly written off. What are some heroes you feel fit the Underdog tag - fun, semi-powerful heroes that aren't played that often. Maybe there is a really powerful hero that people write off because he/she isn't flavor of the month.
