I am sure it surprises no one to know that hundreds of players have been unable to complete daily mission achievements for the CW event due to no fault of their own. They were nice enough to give people extra time to complete it... but they failed to fix the bugs which were preventing it in the first place.
If you already missed any from this current week's rotation due to the no-appearance bugs already (like me) and you're missing any from the other side (like me) then it can not be fully completed unless they change the end date again from what the site currently says it will be.
According to the site announcements the CW event ends on the 31st. That means after this week ends you will not even get a full week next week. So your only hope is to complete one side, hope you actually get the daily you need, and finally hope that it is actually completable next time they decide to run the event... Which it likely won't be fixed even then since they will probably decide to delay the fixes with the event over and end up never getting around to it until after it hurts everyone again next time. :/
Honestly this whole event has been very frustrating. And the fact that they plan on ending the event even while bugs remain that prevent tons of players from even completing it is just insane.
In personal opinion, instead of ending the event or repeatedly postponing the end, they should decide to continue it indefinitely until after all of the major problems with the dailies are resolved, and only then put up a closing date. Otherwise this mess with unfinishable missions will just happen again next time the event gets run and by then everyone will have forgotten the tricks to getting around some of the bugs and make it frustrating all over again for a whole new crowd of people.
Seriously, unless it is costing the game producers money to lease the rights to having the Civil War concept active then there is no reason to stop it. And there are plenty of reasons to keep it going until it is actually working properly. What possible harm can there be to simply leave it up indefinitely until the bugs are actually fixed? I assume you actually do try to fix them of course.
If anyone who works for the game company in charge reads this I plead with you not to end the event until after you have fixed the bugs preventing NPCs and objects from appearing, and verified that it actually is fixed. At least that way it will make it so that next time the event will actually be playable and not cause new players the same frustration that it caused us this month.
